I found this place near the Mississippi River, on the west side of New Orleans. I have heard stories that the house collapsed and was consumed by the garden after the new bridge was built in 1988. Often, people think it was caused by Hurricane Katrina but it was actually subsidence.

Where in Algiers is this? It must be somewhere off of Franklin if the construction of Crescent Connection structurally compromised it . . .
